Lilly Klontz was born in Edmond, Oklahoma. She is a self-taught artist who has embraced the world of colored pencils, a medium Lilly never thought she would pick up. In addition to colored pencils, she considers herself a mixed media artist, often working with watercolor, acrylic, charcoal and graphite. Lilly’s inspiration draws heavily from nature and the great outdoors, with a special passion for birds. Through her art, she aims to capture the beauty and wonder of the natural world, showcasing the vibrant colors and intricate details that make it so enchanting.

Lilly dreams of traveling to the corners of the Earth, the very locations where her inspiration photos originate. Her art is a bridge that connects her to these distant landscapes and feathery friends, and one day, she hopes to immerse herself fully in the scenes that ignite her creative spirit for the world.

In her time not dedicated to creating art, Lilly is the Activities Director at Synergy HomeCare. She designs and leads a variety of programs for residents in assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities throughout Oklahoma City, many of which involve art. Her focus is on using creative activities to enrich daily life and foster connections among seniors, offering them opportunities for artistic expression and social interaction.
