Proceeds from the CHAIRity Event:

This year’s auction proceeds will support the work of Hope Strategies, a division of the Lynn Institute focused on transformative programs and training that build and sustain hope.

• Hope Strategies works with and offers programs providing a second chance and fresh start to people coming out of prison, addiction, rehab/sober living, and abuse. They provide connection to food access, home and family living needs, life skills and work force development opportunities and training in goal setting and identification of pathways using the strengths that are unique to each individual. 

• The Hope Youth Leadership Academy includes content focused on communication skills, leadership development, crucial conversations, time management, goal setting and pathways, financial literacy training, etiquette, and work force learning opportunities and skills.

• CREW, a program for teens offered in collaboration with the Oklahoma County Juvenile Bureau. The program provides opportunities to give back through community service and is focused on Character, Responsibility, Education, and Well-being. Hope Strategies also offers after school programs for at-risk teens.

• Hope Strategies offers life skills and hope-centered training for residents in the disadvantaged communities in which they work, including NE and South OKC, plus zip code 73114.

Hope Strategies works in areas of OKC where more than 50% of the children live below the poverty level. There is a high concentration of single mothers, limited access to healthy foods, and residents are disadvantaged in many areas of life. The funding raised through the CHAIRity event goes directly to support programs and resources for individuals, families, and communities in the vulnerable areas in which Hope Strategies works.
